I have tickets to 3 yankees games. I COULD sell them for about $2000 yielding a profit of about 1000%. That IS a lot of noodles and cereal, but I would more likely get an HD tv.
Actually, I got a couple pair of regular games when they first went on sale in December, then the next day my wife got invited to a special sale of SOX PAX, so we bought two of those (4 seats to 4 games for each pack, each one includes a yankee game) and a couple of single-games. THEN, when the rest of the tickets went on sale to the public we bought a couple more for the relatives who will be out for Heather's wedding. THEN, I got invited to a special sale for Yankee tickets so I got another game. I don't know - when it rains it pours. Next year I will probably have a hard time getting more than 1 or two games like I did last year.
