Diet Log: Week 2, Day 4
So last night my wife went to bed early and I stayed up to watch a little TV. I must have dozed off, because I was awakened by the very loud sound of heavy breathing coming from what seemed to be my stereo speakers. It sounded a little bit like Darth Vader breathing. This was disturbing because was so loud that it totally drowned out the sound of the show on TV, and also because my STEREO WAS OFF AT THE TIME. It kind of freaked me out, so I went to bed and hid under the covers. This morning when I got up and started my workout, it was quickly apparent that something was terribly wrong with my treadmill. Every time I took a step, the belt would stop momentarily and then start back up again. This was a little uncomfortable if I was holding on to the handles, but if I let go it was almost impossible to stand upright. A quick examination made me realize that the belt was very loose. This is curious because there were no such symptoms yesterday. So I spent 20 minutes tightening it. (actually, 30 seconds tightening it, and 19:30 looking for the right tool). As a result I had less time to work out this morning. Had I not found the right tool, I would not have been able to work out at all. Clearly my house is haunted by ghosts that hate skinny people. They must have scared me into going to bed so they would be free to wreak havoc with my treadmill. Who knows what else they sabatoged - for all I know they probably replaced all of the nutra-sweet in my Diet Pepsi with sugar. So not only am I battling my personal demons (laziness and gluttony), I must also battle these ghosts in my quest to lose weight.
Workout: Not too bad, despite the setbacks. 310 Calories.
Weigh-in: X-11. Same as yesterday. Not too bad considering what I ate yesterday and the ghosts.
Breakfast: My sister asked me last night - "So, do you really eat noodles for breakfast". Yes. well, except for the last two days. But today I am back on the right track. 1 cup of Maruchan nooldles - with Shrimp. Calories: 290
Lunch: Wasn't real hungry at lunch, so I skipped it, but around 3:00 I had another cup of the Maruchan noodles - spicy Lime shrimp. mmmmmm. Calories - 290
Dinner: More Pad Thai - but this time there no crab rangoons or beef teriyaki that accidentally made it in there. Again, no idea on the calories. But since I have nearly 2000 calories still available, I'm sure it's fine.
Total Calories for the day: 580 + Pad Thai
