Diet Log: Week 2, Day 2
So I got home last night and my wife started lecturing me about all the sodium in the Maruchan noodles. So I looked it up when I got to work today and she was right. 1 cup has 1200mg of Sodium which is 50% of the USDA Recommended Daily Value. That is kind of a lot. I should point out that I'm not advocating doing this for a long term. I am doing this for 1 week. Next week I will pick something different. Some weeks are naturally going to be more or less healthy than other weeks in many respects. As I have pointed out before, I am simply trying out the scientific theory that you can eat anything and still lose weight. I am making no claims about cholesterol, blood pressure or anything else that health-freaks like to worry about. This is like donating your body to science -but before you die. Sometimes we have to make sacrifices and if eating too much sodium is the sacrifice I must make for the advancement of science, then so be it.
Workout: Had a free HBO preview weekend this past weekend, so I taped AVP. Started watching this and got so into it that My workout went a few minutes long, but I forgot to bump up the speed, so the end result was about the same as yesterday. So far, it's pretty cool - if you are into the Alien and/or Predator movies. I look forward to finishing it tomorrow. Calories burned: 327
Weigh - in: X-9. Excellent. This is a new low. This is shaping up to be a pretty good week, provided I don't have complications from a massive Sodium overdose.
Breakfast: I had to go to an NHACS Athletic Directors meeting in Concord, so I didn't have time to make myself anything. Knowing that I could not make it through the morning on Diet Pepsi, I grabbed a bottle of Cranberry-Grape juice out of the fridge. Calories: 140
Lunch: One cup of Maruchan noodles - regular shrimp flavor. I only have one container of the spicy lime left, and I am saving that for my afternoon snack. Calories: 290
Dinner: No more time to eat anything else today so I was starving by the time I got home. My wife made spaghetti pie. I had two reasonable servings. No idea what the calorie count was, but I'm Certain it was way less than the remaining 2000 I had to burn. My guess: 1000
Total Calories: 1430 (maybe)

So what school are you the AD for?
S-E-N (pause) H-C-A SENHCA SENHCA
They are now called the Big A Warriors.
Wow, the class of '92 is taking over the school one position at a time!
nah, I am not the AD - yet. Usually Dave Lakey goes to these, but he couldn't make it, so since I was the soccer coach this year I got nominated for the honor.
Who else is working at SENHCA?
no idea.
